In which someone says something nice about my work

I’ve been hesitant to post this, but I just can’t resist . . .

A gentleman who attended the Writers of the Future Awards has reviewed all the stories in Writers of the Future Volume XXV on the Asimov’s forum.  Interested parties may find detailed (and somewhat spoilerish) reviews beginning here.

The review of "Gone Black" is on the second page.  If you just can’t wait to hear the verdict, it goes a little something like this:

"In those rare instances when military science fiction is done right, the result can be absolutely mesmerizing. Witness Scalzi’s Old Man’s War and Haldeman’s The Forever War. I’m happy to report that this outstanding story falls into that shining minority."

I’d be lying if I said this didn’t tickle me to no end.

There, I posted it.  Is that wrong?
