Yeah.
The (vastly overrated) Real World rudely interrupted last week. Stress at the day job + computer issues at home = Massive Schedule Disruption. I didn’t get anywhere near as far as I wanted with the read-through of Wet Work.
There is good news on the computer front, at least: a brand-spankin’ new machine, and zero data loss. My documents were never in any danger, as I had backups on both the laptop and a flash drive. The pictures and some music, though, would have been difficult or impossible to replace.
But all that’s been averted. And you know, the new machine’s deductible, so there’s that. Fun with depreciation.
