Notched four chapters on the Wet Work rewrite. If you were paying attention to last week’s entry, you know what that means. Magic Meter, take it away!
Yes, folks, the second draft of Wet Work, my fifth novel, is (ahem) in the books–completed on July 10th, 2010, at 6:32 pm CDT.
And none too soon. I made a to-do list the other day–a great rarity for me, unless I suspect I have a metric crapload of stuff on my plate.
Guess what? I have a metric crapload of stuff on my plate.
No, I don’t know what that equates to in English measurements. But it’s a lot.
So while I’m pleased to have finished–albeit a few weeks later than planned–I have no time to savor the victory. Matt will be a very busy boy over the next several weeks. Suppose I should get to it.
And somewhere along the way, I have to figure out my next novel. I’d hoped to know what it would be by this point. No such luck. Looks like I’ll have to wing it.
No updates for Write Club.
Nose, meet grindstone. Again.
