Finished my read-through of From Earth I Have Arisen. Now I just need to figure out how to rewrite the thing.
I mean, sure, I have some line edits and such, but the opening lacks punch, the ending’s weak, my protagonist isn’t as fleshed out as he needs to be, and there’s a dead-end subplot I have to rethink. I can cut most of that last bit, but some it has to stay in there, which means I need to figure out what to do with it.
So, yeah. Back to making notes for me.
In the meantime, New Potential Novel Project is simmering and bubbling on the back burner, as I’d kinda hoped it would. Might be a novel in there, after all. With any luck, I can get through the rewrite of From Earth and be ready to hit the ground running. Which I need to do. Tempus is definitely fugiting. Or something.
