Been reading novel excerpts and writing mini-critiques for the Codex contest. And that’s about it, really. At some point, I need to do a revision of my WotF 24-hour story, but I want to get these excerpts read first. Besides, writing crits will help turn on my editor brain, which I will need when I dive into the revision. So there. I’m working. Really I am.
I had a faint hope that I might be able to come up with another short story or two to finish out the year, but at the moment, nothing’s there. Maybe my muse is taking the holidays off, or something.
