Congratulations to Barbara A. Barnett, who suggested an alien facehugger. As she so correctly pointed out, such a costume would make seeing difficult–to say nothing of eating and drinking. However, under the contest rules (posted here), I reserve the right to modify the winning entry as I see fit. After some consideration, the wife and I decided to go with a chestburster instead. Mmm . . . gory goodness! Right up my alley.
