A bit squeezed for time, so this will be abbreviated.
3600 words on the new story, now under the working title "Just a Game." Magic Meter stands thus:
A tough week, with my weekend getting shot to hell by a couple of massive schedule disruptions. So much so, in fact, that I did 1K today and applied it to last week’s total. One of the perks of being a largely unknown writer–I can get away with stuff like this. I’m free, like the wind.
I had hoped to have this thing wrapped up in 7500 words, but that’s obviously not happening. Here’s hoping 10K proves to be a reasonable estimate.
And I am once again looking for my ending. I thought it was lying around here somewhere, but . . .
No updates for Write Club.
I’m off. Like the wind.
