Progress Report, in which there is no rest for the wicked

Inched forward on notes for the new novel last week.  A tad disappointing there; I should have accomplished more.

Also did some prep for ConQuesT, coming very, very soon.  I’m determined to avoid the mad scramble I had to do for last year’s MileHiCon–or at the very least, to get the mad scrambling done a little sooner this time.

Complicating matters is the fact that we’re leaving for Denver on Wednesday.  Then, on Friday, we drive straight from Denver to KC, and head back to the Big O on Sunday.  That’s a whole lotta drivin’.  I imagine I’ll be pretty fried come Memorial Day.

And somewhere in all that mad dashing to and fro, I need to make some serious headway on those notes.

Yeah, that writing life sure is glamorous.

No updates for Write Club.

Right.  Back to the scramble . . .

Look, kids! Crazies!

Ah, WorldNetDaily.  It’s like The Onion, only they’re not joking.

Arriving at the Multiplicity

For them as are interested, my "story-behind-the-story" essay "Arriving at the Multiplicity" is now up on Side-Show Freaks, Edmund Schubert’s blog.  If you’d like to know the genesis of "The Multiplicity Has Arrived," hie thee hence.

"The Multiplicity Has Arrived"
appears in issue 12 of Intergalactic Medicine Show.
